In 2000, photographer Lindsay Hebberd — founder/president of Cultural Portraits Productions, Inc. and author of Cultural Portraits of India — began hosting a series of CPP Creative Arts Workshops in India, the United States, and (by invitation of the Royal Family) Jordan. Over 1,000 children, many physically and mentally challenged, participated in the workshops, including Sriharsha and Siddartha Sukla, deaf brothers from Orissa, India.

The Suklas embraced the workshop, creating a body of watercolor and oil paintings based on Hebberd’s photographs. Recognizing their talent, Hebberd produced an exhibition of their works in 2001 at the India International Center in New Delhi, India. At that time, she introduced to them the medium of paper collage, and for nearly a decade has worked closely with the Suklas, guiding them throughout the process. Their collaboration and close friendship has resulted in the commission of a series of unique, meticulously crafted Photo-realism collages of Hebberd’s cultural photographic portraits.

Upon approval of the photo provided, a second, high quality jpeg is supplied to CPP. You pay 50% up front (account info. will be provided). and the Suklas begin work on the custom collage. Lindsay Hebberd quality controls the work in progress. Once the collage is finished to Lindsay's satisfaction she emails you a jpeg of the finished collage and jpegs of detail areas for your proofing and approval. Minor changes are possible and, if requested, a new jpeg is sent for approval. Shipping charges from India directly to the address provided is determined and the remaining payment 50% + shipping (at actual) is sent to CPP, Inc. Upon receipt of full payment, the collage is carefully packaged and sent via insured SpeedPost directly from India to your address.
