Along
the coast of Kochi, huge Chinese fishing nets appear as giant
spiders with lanky legs moving up and down, while a fisherman
uses his weight as ballast. With the net submerged he pauses,
smokes a hand-rolled bidi, then returns to inspect
the catch in the net.
