The Fountains of Bellagio

Bellagio’s lake is the setting for the famed ‘dancing fountains.’ Seventeen feet at its deepest point and covering 8.5 acres, the lake extends from the front of the hotel to the edge of the Las Vegas Strip.

Under the lake’s shimmering surface lie miles of wires and cables connecting the 4,792 light fixtures and nearly 1,200 fountainheads (mini-shooters, super-shooters, extreme-shooters and oarsmen) to computers and other equipment that produce displays reaching up to 460 feet in height.

Brilliantly conceived and executed, the fountains’ dancing waters are specifically choreographed to each song—pop, classical or opera––producing water ballets that are playful, dramatic, graceful, majestic. Small wonder the attraction is viewed repeatedly by locals and visitors alike.
